[Her voice catches in her throat and she finds it too difficult to speak. Words turned to sand in her mouth and her thoughts slipped away as warmth and relief flood through her.
Grace buries her head against the comforting curve of his shoulder and neck. She doesn't remember him, not completely, she remembers a feeling. A feeling that belongs to him and no one else. The tears won't stop as he pulls back to lightly kiss her forehead. Her eyes are puffy, her nose and cheeks red as she tries to force her crying to end.]
