Personal space is important to Ren, so his initial reaction to being bumped into is to shoot a glare in the direction of the perpetrator. The apology comes unprompted though, and Ren is reminded that making a scene in public like this is a poor choice. He doesn't want to be kicked out before he can get some of this food.
