"Either way, I guess I have to be patient and let the memories come back at whatever pace." Izzy settles on that with a bit of a shrug, though, she manages to keep the tone of her voice from sagging under the weight of that knowledge. She'll find...someone who will remind her of something. Or...she'll wait on the steady trickle of memories to come back. Either way she knows that the likelihood is that patience will help, at least logically.

"And I'll have to strut around town a little more in my fabulous shoes." Izzy jokes, a bit of amusement pulling at her lips; it hasn't escaped her notice that her particular style isn't exactly a common thread through the people that she's run into and seen thus far. If wandering the town might help with her memories,t hough, there's no question that she's going to do it. Following Clary into the cafe, Izzy peers around at the cats gathering, taking care not to accidentally step on any of the petite paws. "You know, a smoothie would be nice, you have any sugestions as to which is the tastiest?"

Gracefully, Izzy moves to lower herself to the ground, running her fingers over the head of a couple of the cats that managed to get in close to her ankles. The movement causes her serpent bracelet to slide down, resting against her hand, but she doesn't tink anything of it. It feels natural, so she must wear this all the time. Or, at least, that's the sense that she gets. "Smart menu, though, considering the animals." Looking up at Clary, Izzy can't help but wonder if they knew one another...at least in passing. There's a, sort of, comfort in being around the other woman that she can't actually explain.

So, maybe more time will lead her to answers? She hopes, anyway.
