Justine turned and followed behind him. She didn't share his bouncing excitement though there was a simple thrill in learning something new, like electricity dancing in waves over her skin. Nothing in this town was familiar to her and her past was filled with dark faded memories that hadn't been able to withstand the test of time but that was okay. Justine didn't need more, there was only one thing that she needed, one thing that she couldn't remember.
"And humble too." She felt herself smile at him though the grin didn't quite reach her eyes. He was too pure and she almost felt bad for him. She didn't want the world to taint that purity.
"Do you know what you want?" Justine didn't have much money but she thought it only right that she paid for him. He was helping her, in more ways that he knew and all he had to do was be himself.
