[Clary doesn't usually go to the hospital. Hospitals are awful with uncomfortable instruments of pain and that white sterile bleach smell that permeates from everything. Clary likes a world with more color, vibrant and alive. She supposes it's the artist in her or the part of her that's too much like her mother.
Today she's snooping. The hospital is where it all started and what she remembers... Her thoughts cut and she shivers. A hospital makes the most sense.
Her pale pink hoodie and line green sneakers stand out among the white halls of the hospital. She has her hands shoved into her pockets, her Stele held in her palm. Clary can't say why but she feels like she might need it. She stops when she hears a voice inquiring from one of the rooms. It sounds familiar and yet completely foreign.
She slowly makes her way closer to the door. He's complaining. She almost starts laughing. That's just like him. Him? No. Clary doesn't know him and yet there is a nagging suspicion she does. Watching a disgruntled nurse flee from the room she steps inside and catches sight of the man sitting in the hospital bed.]
