[newt's head darts around quickly to cast a wide look around their surroundings which, uh, are honestly looking a bit tore up for just one guy with a suitcase to have been responsible for, but hopefully scott doesn't notice that? at least one tree has definite claw marks on it, but honestly, ignore it, it's nothing!]

I don't recall hearing any sort of scream, are you certain you heard one? Woods can be--can be tricky, you know. People wind up thinking they've seen or heard all sorts of things that they haven't.
