Not the sharp part; he's wrapped his tail back on itself so the blade is not pointed at her.
It's a hella good tail, give it a shove and it'll move about a couple inches. Of course he doesn't offer an arm. Tall though he is, he's got shoulders like a rat and little arm strength.]
