Too late for Klaus, Archer had seen him well before he had been seen (he had his glasses on today, after all!) and the general demeanor didn't inspire confidence in the man's ability to push forward through the terrible unknown past the fence. Still, there was a very strong chance the man had skills that would be useful to them both outside once Archer's own talents began to wane and he was not a man to take foolhardy risks.
That meant he had to change the man's mind and bring him back. It shouldn't be too difficult once they began to speak.
"Oh, hello! Excuse me!" Seeing as Klaus was now walking away, Archer hefted the coffin up over his shoulder while keeping his hand wrapped in the chain and followed after at a slight trot to catch up. "Would you happen to be this old man's chaperone today? Did you forget something?"
