Klaus slowly drags his eyes away from the coffin to land on Archer and narrows them suspiciously, even as his eyebrows arch high in response to the man's laugh. His explanation is, frankly, unbelievable, but Klaus traded regularly in unbelievable growing up and there's no denying the fact that there are no more ghostly figures skirting around his periphery with the appearance of the coffin than there has been for Klaus' journey here in the first place.

(He's more sober than he'd like to be right now, but there's a distinct difference between putting himself in danger with his choices and involving other people, and besides, it's distressingly difficult to get his hand on the good stuff in this town without regularly pilfering the hospital anyway. which unfortunately involves having to enter the hospital, something which he is loathe to do again anytime soon.)

"It's not the bodies I'm worried about." Klaus says, more to himself than his company, then actively focuses on relaxing his posture in the vain attempt to give some sort of impression that he has any idea what he's doing here. "That's some joke. You ever consider coming up with a more portable one?"
