Pepper's job aside I still like to think she stops in Steve's classroom to observe and takes him out to lunch. She also plans to school him in MARIO kart, so he better watch out.

In regards to fighting the man... pepper's already feeling weird and conflicted and it doesn't sit well, so down with the establishment. She might not get directly involved, because she's not a fighter, but she will help from behind the scenes.
