WHO ARE THEY?: Sam is (though he only half-remembers being) a speechwriter and Deputy Communications Director under president Josiah Bartlet. He's a good-hearted uppity nerd with an Ivy League education and too much brain for his mouth to keep up with, tending to argue with himself when alone, prone to spouting useless information at bad times, and also clumsy as hell. But he tries. Oh, how he tries. And his moral compass is true even if he's a clueless idiot interpersonally.
ETC ETC: He is false-memory drinking buddies with Damon, and for the past five years (as far as he knows) has been responsible for his fake sister's kid (Chase Collins) after her death.

CURRENT PLANS: He's going to teach civics and history and probably get himself in trouble by having modules on resistance movements in US history and the obligations of the citizen.

WHO ARE THEY?: a fictionalized version of elizabeth bathory who can't empathize with anyone for shit and also has trouble actually being a human being. she needs a morality pet badly, even though she's sorta kinda on the ""right path"" after the halloween 2016 event in fate/grand order. she wants to have friends and have everyone love her and compliment her and enjoy her presence, which is why she's Sorta Trying to better herself. along with other things. fate/, my friends.
ETC ETC: she also wants to be a japanese idol even though her singing is literally lethal.

CURRENT PLANS: right now she's pouting and Mad about getting told off by the sheriff after bragging about saving the town (she didn't save the town), but soon she'll bully Jack (comic_relief) into being her Master so she can do more things like Not Kill People for the mana.

MORALITY PETS, someone she can rely on to pull a Moana on her and keep her from walking off the goddamn boat and into the ocean.

MOTHER FIGURES, she's got like two older dad figures in the town itself plus Vlad Tepes (Berserker) in Chaldea, so what she really needs is some positive female influences in her life.

ACTUAL FACTUAL FRIENDS AND FOUND FAMILY, one of the reasons she went off the deep end in her fictionalized background in CCC is because she was held to such a high standard as nobles often do, so she turned to bathing in blood to keep herself looking cute like a doll for her whole life. she was supposed to be beauty and brains and a leader in her castle, ruling over her town and she was never allowed to be less than perfect. she didn't even have any friends and was married off at the age of 15. cruelty is in her blood and it can never shake out, but she definitely needs someone to love her and treat her like an actual person. which also means not putting up with her shit because she doesn't yet have the self-awareness to know when she's crossed a line. she also does STUPID THINGS like agreeing to join a guy who wants to end the world in order to protect someone from an abusive relationship. i swear to fucking god that's canon.

... people for her to torture when the fete mechanic is used, LOOK. her main skills are torturing, she might as well put them to good use.

Based on that one phone call, Eliza will forever be imprinted on Izumi's mind as the weird one. His own friends are losers to him, though, so he'd treat her pretty casually during subsequent encounters! He's blunt and would call Eliza out in the most teenage boy way when she's being Extra ("whoa ok calm down dude"). Probably stems from having a captain in canon who is Out of Control.

WHO ARE THEY?: While normally a impersonal and sadistic agent of a fascist organization, currently Rumlow is a relatively congenial guy who owns the local boxing gym. An affectionate husband, he appears a normal member of Wayward Pines -- underneath he's deeply suspicious and wondering what version of reality is the right one.

CANON: Once Upon a Time

WHO ARE THEY?: OUAT is convoluted on the best of days, so I'll just cut to the chase. Jefferson's lived as a portal jumper/thief/con artist, as an impoverished single father trying to get by with honest work, and-- oh yeah-- he also got stranded in Wonderland, lost his mind, and became known as the Mad Hatter. Then a curse happened, sucked him and everyone from his original home (the Enchanted Forest) into 'our' world, where everyone forgot who they really were and were cursed to live the same day over and over again for 28 years. Jefferson, however, was cursed to REMEMBER EVERYTHING: his cursed life and his real life. And his daughter was made to forget him and given an entirely new family. So he went even crazier.

And now he's here and remembers large chunks of his real life, his fake curse memories, and his fake Wayward Pines memories-- but he also has some key gaps in his memory. Namely: he doesn't remember the fact that he's been cursed, and he doesn't remember anything about his daughter, except that he used to have a daughter. So that's fucked him up, basically.

However!! Though he's still pretty sure he's a delusional madman, he's currently at a point where he's starting to just accept that he is, on some level, every discernible identity in his head. (Though he hasn't realized that most of the 'identities' he's mapped out are actually the same person living a really long and weird life) Which has had the effect of causing him to loosen up a lot more than he had been in February/March.

Also he owns a tea shop here.

ETC ETC: Jefferson can usually be found at the tea shop, at his home (which he shares with Rumlow and Kenzi), or out and about running errands in town. Lately, he's been spending more time in the woods, going for "walks" several days a week (he's actually exploring/mapping the woods as best he can).

OF NOTE: Unless stated otherwise, Jefferson always has his neck covered with a scarf/cravat/ascot. There's a scar that goes all the way around his neck, which he got from getting his head cut off once upon a time.

CURRENT PLANS: I don't think I have any particular plans atm! Just kind of feeling things out as I go. I'm still postponing him remembering certain key facts (the curse, any details about his daughter, etc) because I'm having a lot of fun with his confusion and his attempts at reconciling all his weird, implausible memories.

WHO ARE THEY?: Dio tends to inspire fear and lust in people. And I mean that and, though sometimes it is an or. He's pretentious and extra because he's a vampire, and he's never learned to get his life together. He also has a short temper and is incredibly arrogant though, so I mean??
ETC ETC: As I mentioned, Dio is a vampire, which means that he cannot go out in the sunlight! Any in-person interactions with him must occur at night unless your character is within Pucci & Dio's house (where the curtains are heavy and always drawn to prevent sunlight from leaking in). Your characters are free to note that he's never around except at night, or those with super senses of smell to note the smell of blood on him at any given time. It's how the Dio do. Also, Dio's history can be pretty triggering, so just a gentle reminder to check out his permissions/opt-out post and make use of it if you need to!

CURRENT PLANS: I don't have any particularly strong plans as of right now. Right now, I'm giving him his canon memories in a more chronological order than anything else beyond his starter memories. Likewise, Dio has started feeding on the population directly rather than taking the hospital supply because he's over that cold blood diet, but he has not yet killed anyone. What a vague sense of self-control he has... Other than that, he is around!
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: He's a villain, so other antagonists are free to chill with him and protags are free to not get along with him very well. Definitely always up for any Pines memories if y'all would like that to be a thing! I'm also really chill about people knowing that Dio's a vampire because it's not like he does anything in particular to hide it.

WHO ARE THEY?: Adora is an undead gal who was stitched back together and her resurrection was a little botched up. She has a hard time understanding a lot of emotions but she's genuinely ok! You know, for a ghoul. She really likes raw meat. I set up an info page for her so you don't have to read through the teal deer in her app.
ETC ETC: She probably spends a lot of time either sitting on her front porch reading, or at the school. Or at a music store if there's any, I am not sure? You'll probably find her minding her own business or occasionally just sort of sitting there not really staring at nothing for a long time. She daydreams a lot. She's got a series of stitch-up scars, all of them are mentioned summarily on the first link provided above. Other than that we're cool.

CURRENT PLANS: I decided to play with "she was a teacher's assistant" in her false memories, but that's really about it? I'd like to play a bit more with that and the mix between those and where her real memories could fit in (in her reasoning I guess). I haven't really plotted out what to do with her much but... Well, she's also new, so.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Positive and negative alike. I'm all for 'Dora trying to be "team big sister" (and possibly failing) or being mom'd, friendships, awkward moments... I'm also all for negative CR. Have a character who hates those darned undeads? No problem here - she just might not get what the issue is. Really, I'd love to integrate her into the game as a whole.

WHO ARE THEY?: Logan, the Wolverine, is a 191-year-old mutant with metal claws and a healing factor. He's a member of the X-Men, a team of mutant super heroes based out of a school in New York. But Logan (or James, as he'll be known) won't remember much of that for now. He's gruff and hella rough around the edges, and a total pushover when it comes to helping kids in trouble except for his own but that hasn't happened yet so it is neither here nor there okay.
ETC ETC: He's living with Marie, a former student/fellow mutant teacher from New York; and Kate, one of his former Pines students who probably showed up on his porch looking sad and lost. Or more likely broke into his house, claimed a guest bedroom and never left. As you do.

CURRENT PLANS: As far as he's concerned, he is James Howlett, high school industrial arts teacher. He'll start to remember more about his past as the days wear on, but his false memories are basically just going to feel like the next leg of his journey as opposed to something... well, false.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Students who want to make napkin holders or birdhouses or what have you. Fellow teachers/school staff with whom to shoot the shit in the teacher's lounge or after school at the bar. People in general who frequent dive bars, because James sure as hell does. WHO ARE THEY?: Izumi is reckless but adaptive, blunt but clumsy, proud but cool—the type of kid who uses his outside voice indoors and is a fashion disaster when he steps out half the time. He's one of those talents who excels at what he likes, so his grades are average in contrast to his acuity on the battlefield. A pleasant character until the occasional personality clash, he doesn't tolerate groundless arrogance from others; however, he respects those older than him, no matter how stupid he might think they are.

In canon, he's a top agent of an organization dedicated to thwarting alien invasions and specializes in shooting. He's got a handy device that taps into his unique energy to create a combat body, which can easily withstand a missile. Pretty nifty, huh!

ETC ETC: He goes to school and works part time—let's say at Java Joe's.

CURRENT PLANS: Still unsure of what to make of Wayward Pines, he's living day-to-day, minding his own business for the most part. It's not hard for him to enjoy the little things. There are plans for him to move within the next month or two, which means a vacancy for 5043.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Positive or negative, teens to socialize and/or bicker with, adult supervision, the works. He's outgoing enough to talk to anyone, and his combat body is 100% energy, so someone can even pick a fight for whatever reason and he'll give them the what-for if it gets bad.

FALSE MEMORIES PLOTTING: I'm playing these by ear. If you want your character to be acquainted with Izumi based on the above info, we can make it happen! He's an extrovert and spends a lot of time outside, probably regardless of the hour. Come to me, friend, and we shall plot.

CANON: The Vampire Diaries

WHO ARE THEY?: Katherine is a vampire, and over 500 years old. She finagled her way into getting turned in 1492, at age 18, when she learned that she was meant to be used as a sacrifice (because of being a mystical being known as a doppelganger; and the sacrifice would only work when she was still human.) This resulted in her running for her life for, well, all of it. She's a survivor above anything else, and always puts her own interests above literally anyone else's. Even so, she's an expressive person, capable of love and making friends. In town, she has two of the people she's pretty obsessed with, plus she doesn't have to run. She's sociable, blunt, outgoing, but also very manipulative.

Her Pines memories? She's using those fully to her advantage. It's creepy that they exist, but make lemonade out of lemons, right? The marriage between herself and Damon, they're playing that up all with undertones (between the family, er, TVD circle, so between herself, Damon Stefan and Caroline and any other trusted allies) of knowing how fucked up it is, but they'll play by the rules to get more answers. That's what she's been doing anyhow, her attitude about it actually mirroring Damon's a bit.
ETC ETC: Since arriving and pre-memory return, she's largely spent time around her immediate circle, Damon and Stefan Salvatore (who I know are simply THRILLED for that), at the house the three of them share, plus the brothers' garage. She's branched out over the course of the month, once she got her memories back and frequents any sort of place that's of notable interest. Bars are a highlight too, 'cause TVD vampires like to get their drink on.

CURRENT PLANS: She was sick for a stint during the latest plot, but overall I've stated what she's been up to and there's more below for an idea I'd like to accomplish.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: I want her to have CR with actually everyone. Bear with this still vague idea, but I'd like for Katherine to serve as an informant of sorts among those in game. Spoiler alert: its double edged in that she cares about herself, Damon, and Stefan learning info rather than your character gaining much BUT. Shh. Did I mention how selfish she is?

Her manipulation tactics are seriously stellar (not to suggest god-modding over what your character is perceptive to, by any means), so she knows how to swing the pendulum in the direction of her favor based on what she could pick up from your character. She'd do fantastically well with men in this area too. She's awfully flirty. Or, she sure thinks she would. ;) For those in the know of what makes up the mind compulsion that vampires can do, that can come into play sometimes but I'm thinking more of sincere bonds and trust being forged here (she's not against using it when she needs to.) So, as an informant might do, info for info, quid pro quo, etc, etc.

She's dynamite at being in entangled in the business that pertains to her. And this town? What all's going on here? Matters to her, and she can and will get information. ;3

Additionally, I'll be reaching out to people as time goes on to see if this could be an applicable thing with them, but wanted to let others know of the idea now.

I would especially like her to build CR with impressionable (take that as you will) dudes (I'm...not sorry...) and anyone who works with magic. Anyone who wants to have (fake) memories of her being Katherine Salvatore, go right ahead, too: her and Damon were high school sweethearts who had a couple of turbulent patches before and after tying the knot.

WHO ARE THEY?: Kate is a spoiled once-rich girl who tends to act more with her gut rather than thinking things through. She often wants to play "hero", trying to be righteous and help those in need, despite the fact that she doesn't even hold any special abilities. Though she is kickass with a bow and arrow. Back in her world, she's known as the better Hawkeye, though she has no memory of that at the moment.
ETC ETC: Kate works part time at the local record store, though she can often times be found snooping around town, trying to see if there's anybody to help in any which way. She's currently living with Logan (BECAUSE THAT'S A GREAT IDEA) and Rogue.

CURRENT PLANS: Though she's missing a lot of memories, Kate still has her bad habits of being too investigative about things. Once she hears about the missing janitor, she'll be on her feet to try finding him. She'll be interviewing anyone that might have known him, retracing his steps, and seeking out any hints about where he might have ended up. She's a nosy butt.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Definitely people that have a curiosity and knack for investigation! Though she doesn't remember it, in canon, she has her own detective agency to help out those in need. Gradually, over time, she might want to rebuild this idea, even if it's in a more private manner. Also, just any pals that want to hang around her, especially those that can either support or argue her deep love of Springsteen.

WHO ARE THEY?: She's a girl from Brooklyn. Clary is a Shadowhunter who grew up like a normal girl. She loves art and drawing. She is stubborn, sarcastic, caring, compassionate, idealistic, and even shy at times. A Shadowhunter is someone with angel's blood in them and she has more than the average Shadowhunter because her dad was crazy and special. From her canon point her mother is missing, not that she remembers it so I currently having her living alone in Wayward Pines thought Clary is slowly figuring out why that is.
ETC ETC: Clary is new. She likes hanging out at the coffee place, drawing, etc. She showed up in an unfortunate dress because of the canon point I took her from.

CURRENT PLANS: She's still getting settled so I don't really have any specific plans. I'm happy to throw her at whatever :) She'll be taking classes and trying to pursue a career in the arts. She's a very skilled artist though there are things that she still has to learn.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: EVERYTHING!
Friends; Clary needs people to hang out with and to drag her away from her house and her thoughts. She's rather easy going and will attend things just to be around people. Conflict; Clary can be rash and sarcastic, she doesn't always mean to come off as such but she can spell trouble if her senses of justice are tested. Surrogate family; she's alone, living alone and her memories are going to tell her that her father died during a war while her mother is working in another country. She stayed behind for school but as such, she's very lonely. Subjects to draw/paint; Clary is an artist and as such she likes drawing people. She will also draw people how she sees them, like with angel wings or devil horns. they're all very lovely pictures and you might not get to see them but she'd love more subjects. Romance. I welcome the slow build and I also don't plan things out. Clary has a true love in canon however she's taken from a point where she still thinks he's annoying. If anyone is interested in this, because it's likely to get complicated if she's ever canon updated, please let me know. I'm happy to work with people and I love shipping. Shipping is my weakness. Unrequited affection is good too. Clary doesn't see herself a pretty despite the fact that she is. She'll also develop crushes on people and I look forward to her being turned down so if you're interested in that please let me know.

WHO ARE THEY?: There's a pretty good rundown on his profile for reference, but I'll try and give a quicker one: nearly eight foot tall scar and PTSD riddled war veteran survivor of military experimentation vegetarian (previous) homeless man who works for the war relief section of the army, which tends to involve either running soup kitchens or battling tanks single handed; his upbringing was rather unique in that he was raised by a politicaly disgraced doctor and a small community of sex workers, followed by a children's commune in the middle of a completely lawless zone run by gangs and organized crime in what amounts to anime fantasy pre-WWI Germany.

CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Friendships! Randel has a lot of emotional distance issues but he's much better with friends to look out for and looking out for him. Investigators! The environment around town reminds him of the town Karusel from the plot arc just before he came and he'll want to find out what's going on and try to do something about it. Romance? Go for it, but he's going to be super-resistant so if you're all right with it being VERY VERY slow burn and difficult, I'd love it. False memories! Given the framework in his head for 'family', he's totally good for lots of adopted 'siblings' so that's definitely something I'd love but I'm up for just about anything!

"Rogue" Marie D'Ancanto
CANON: Wiki History Rogue is from the X-Men film series and appeared in the first three movies. Her role in X-Men: Days of Future Past, which takes place in the prequel timeline and also ~17 years after X3 (making Rogue 34 years old), was cut from the theatrical release but put back in for the special Rogue Cut of the film. I take her from the end of DoFP, just before the timeline is reset.

WHO ARE THEY?: A southern belle mutant who used to be part of this little superhero team called the X-Men. They saved people a lot until the world decided to try to eradicate mutants from the face of the planet. Between that and her mutation, which allows her to absorb the lifeforce, memories, abilities, and psyches of anyone she touches with skin-to-skin contact, she's been through some shit. She'll be going by her actual name "Marie" for at least a little while, since she's not completely open about her mutantness in Wayward Pines yet.

ETC ETC: Rogue is pretty noticeable, with the white streak at the front of her brown hair and the way she walks around completely covered up. If anyone ever gets a glimpse at the inside of her left arm, there's a tattoo there that looks a lot like the one Magneto received during WWII, reading M4867. On a lighter note, she's a coffee and chocolate addict, so she'll frequently (perhaps daily, lol) be where those things can be found. She'll probably wander into a bar every now and then as well, since they're homey to her. With all the shit she's been through during the war, she really should be included into the Veterans Support Group, except in the world of Wayward Pines, she's not actually a veteran and so it would probably be a wee bit suspicious. Stewing under mountains of PTSD is fine, right?

CURRENT PLANS: She'll be trying to get her bearings more than anything. With her memories slowly coming back, so too will her PTSD and the couple hundred psyches she's absorbed over the years. Going to work, trying to get back into shape after years of captivity, learning to cope with what she's been through and the betrayal of her friends - those will be the priorities for the most part. She could definitely use some distractions from her own head, though!

CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Friends! She desperately needs some. The last bunch left her to be tortured in a lab, so she may have some issues she needs to work through, but she lives to take care of and be useful to others. People to train with! Back in her X-Men days, Rogue worked hard to be good at hand-to-hand fighting, and now she has trouble going for a simple jog. Personal trainer types to get her strength and stamina back, someone to spar with, she needs all the help she can get. Romance! Well, maybe, lol. Anyone trying for a bit of romance with Rogue will have an interesting time of it - she loves physical affection, but any makeout attempts may result in your character being comatose or, uh, dead. If you've got a non-human or superpowered character, though, there might be some wiggle room, so let's chat. :D

After sacrificing his life to take down the man that killed the King, Nyx woke up in Wayward Pines. He's just recently remembered he has PTSD and had been in a world of hurt. ETC ETC: Nyx is from the end of Kingsglaive, so he's been through almost literal hell. While his limbs are all now functioning (Thanks Jack) he's still permanently scarred from the battle.

He'll be found more and more often at Rumlow's gym, working out and possibly actually working there drawing in new customers with his abs. Otherwise he spends a lot of his time at home or at a local bar. This guy needs to get out more.

CURRENT PLANS: Nyx just got the brunt of his memories back. He's trying to adjust to them while, like many others now, wanting to find out what's going on. He's probably going to be very much involved in whatever crazy ends up happening from this moment on. Especially since he was one of the idiots that thought it would be a good idea to steal a corpse.

He doesn't remember yet that he has magic, but those capable of sensing such a thing may notice that he's brimming with it.

WHO ARE THEY?: Being newly arrived in town, Magnus is still piecing together exactly who he is. Normally he is a very fabulous warlock who looks after those close to him with a fierecness but sees others as distractions—either entertaining or annoying. He enjoys simple pleasures like cold drinks and warm bodies as well as fashion and body glitter. He can be very personable when he wants to, but he also has a habit of sassing at people he finds rude or unworthy of his time. Basically it's a crapshoot of which side you get from Magnus.
ETC ETC: His eyes are literally glowing golden cat eyes, verticle pupils and all. He also has been performing magic on instinct but otherwise can't remember how to make anything happen when he wills it.

CURRENT PLANS: Right now, he's in a honeymoon state of bliss with the man he believes to be his husband. He's also going to be looking into multiple jobs though I don't have any specific plans on where he might settle into employment.

ETC ETC: Damon owns S & D Automotive with his brother, Stefan and he recently learned he dated and married their mutual "enemy," Katherine Pierce. When not at the shop, he can be found at any of the lunch establishments Monday - Saturday. At night, he'll frequent Weavers, or one of the other bars. He also drops in on friends a lot, so he may be at the school, or anywhere else people he knows spend time. He's allies with Malia and Jaiying, (the latter he uses and has compelled).

CURRENT PLANS: Right now, he's playing up his marriage with Katherine, playing that part well. But, he's getting restless (and sometimes that leads to recklessness). He's going to picking up a few shifts at one of the bars in order to gain any drunken intel.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: I am that person. Everything. He's easy to get negative CR with, but sometimes, surprisingly, it doesn't stay negative, or CR I think will automatically be negative, isn't.

Currently looking for: a woman to bide his time with, seeing as Elena isn't here and he will not be going there with Katherine, more "friends," maybe enemies. Again, everything.

FALSE MEMORIES PLOTTING: He's drinking buddies with Howard, Sam Seaborn and is forging a friendship with Howard's ex, Jefferson. Shia and I are working with the brothers uncovering their shadier dealings with their business. Damon and Katherine also have a power thing going, and while they marry one another, they fool around outside their marriage and manipulate who they want, so I'd love someone to be an extramarital affair for Damon. That could be fascinating. Other than that, people he went to high school with, dated, liked him, hated him. I love the component for false memories.
