This is a meme for all of your CR-plotting needs! Go forth and mingle, but please try to be specific. "All the things" is nice, but it doesn't give people much to work with. Tag around, meet new people, and plot out false memories or make new ones.

CANON: The Vampire Diaries
JOURNAL:
WHO ARE THEY?: Katherine is a vampire, and over 500 years old. She finagled her way into getting turned in 1492, at age 18, when she learned that she was meant to be used as a sacrifice (because of being a mystical being known as a doppelganger; and the sacrifice would only work when she was still human.) This resulted in her running for her life for, well, all of it. She's a survivor above anything else, and always puts her own interests above literally anyone else's. Even so, she's an expressive person, capable of love and making friends. In town, she has two of the people she's pretty obsessed with, plus she doesn't have to run. She's sociable, blunt, outgoing, but also very manipulative.
Her Pines memories? She's using those fully to her advantage. It's creepy that they exist, but make lemonade out of lemons, right? The marriage between herself and Damon, they're playing that up all with undertones (between the family, er, TVD circle, so between herself, Damon Stefan and Caroline and any other trusted allies) of knowing how fucked up it is, but they'll play by the rules to get more answers. That's what she's been doing anyhow, her attitude about it actually mirroring Damon's a bit.
ETC ETC: Since arriving and pre-memory return, she's largely spent time around her immediate circle, Damon and Stefan Salvatore (who I know are simply THRILLED for that), at the house the three of them share, plus the brothers' garage. She's branched out over the course of the month, once she got her memories back and frequents any sort of place that's of notable interest. Bars are a highlight too, 'cause TVD vampires like to get their drink on.
CURRENT PLANS: She was sick for a stint during the latest plot, but overall I've stated what she's been up to and there's more below for an idea I'd like to accomplish.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: I want her to have CR with actually everyone. Bear with this still vague idea, but I'd like for Katherine to serve as an informant of sorts among those in game. Spoiler alert: its double edged in that she cares about herself, Damon, and Stefan learning info rather than your character gaining much BUT. Shh. Did I mention how selfish she is?
Her manipulation tactics are seriously stellar (not to suggest god-modding over what your character is perceptive to, by any means), so she knows how to swing the pendulum in the direction of her favor based on what she could pick up from your character. She'd do fantastically well with men in this area too. She's awfully flirty. Or, she sure thinks she would. ;) For those in the know of what makes up the mind compulsion that vampires can do, that can come into play sometimes but I'm thinking more of sincere bonds and trust being forged here (she's not against using it when she needs to.) So, as an informant might do, info for info, quid pro quo, etc, etc.
She's dynamite at being in entangled in the business that pertains to her. And this town? What all's going on here? Matters to her, and she can and will get information. ;3
Additionally, I'll be reaching out to people as time goes on to see if this could be an applicable thing with them, but wanted to let others know of the idea now.
I would especially like her to build CR with impressionable (take that as you will) dudes (I'm...not sorry...) and anyone who works with magic. Anyone who wants to have (fake) memories of her being Katherine Salvatore, go right ahead, too: her and Damon were high school sweethearts who had a couple of turbulent patches before and after tying the knot.

No, but legit, setting up an information network would be awesome. I'd like to say she'd have her work cut out for her manipulating him into it, but let's face it. So long as she doesn't nail all of his insecurities or try to needle him for information he's protecting, he's open to new friends. He's incredibly perceptive, but did miss his own military brothers and captain plotting to betray the crown, so. /handwaves

ALSO after looking at your comment on the meme too, here's an idea! Not to rudely overstep the potential for flirty CR, lmao! BUT! For fake family memories, would you be interested in Nyx having Katherine as a younger sister? He'd be joining a family that can only get more powerful (he probably wouldn't like her Pines husband, Damon, but alas. THAT'S FAMILY) PLUS the Salvatores are not at all shady or dramatic...totes not at all. Now is also when I'm wondering if you're familiar with TVD or not. :')

I can't even be mad about the loss, because fake family is my jam. And having a younger sister would fuck with Nyx so badly. He had one in canon who he failed to save that, frankly, haunts him. So Katherine would immediately gain plus one (1) stupidly overprotective brother. I can't imagine that would mean great things for any CR with Damon and I'm kinda of excited to find out.
I have not actually seen it, though it's on my list. I can start watching it, though. I think it's on Netflix.

TVD is an easy binge. (And by the fifth episode, you won't be able to stop.) But, but, but, I would personally love for Damon to have a brother-in-law that's never liked him. They did date on and off in high school and they've had quite the public fight. But, yessss.

Katherine, however, is coming from the end of Disturbing Behavior, I think. it's the one before The Reckoning. She hit the road with Damon with someone in the trunk of her car on a mission of sorts. This is Season 3 Katherine.

Katherine's going to be the most annoying little sister of life. You're welcome, Nyx. But you gotta protect your younger fam that make questionable choices. She has a loud, egotistical presence. Very narcissistic. Like anyone with humanity, she's fully capable of love too, she's just incredibly selfish.
Also, Katherine was an only child but she lost her entire family shortly after being turned into a vampire (and she feels pretty guilty about it since her transition was the catalyst for them being killed.) They're both haunted by things! :')
Like Brandon said, too, TVD is quite easy to binge (and it IS on Netflix!)

She's an artist, a really good one, who loves to draw and at times paint. My current wayward pines memories involve her moving there when she was ten and then her mother being away on an art tour so she's living alone. She has people checking up on her (details are pending)
I'm ALWAYS up for my characters being manipulated. I like being mean to them. Last time she met a vampire in canon they turned her best friend into a rat o.o

I definitely want Clary and Katherine to meet, and I know she can find a means where she wants/needs to manipulate her. :')
As for fake memories -- we could have had them at least know of each other in high school, if you want? Katherine being more a Queen Bee, popular girl (with a boyfriend, Damon, of who she had numerous rocky patches and turbulence, but who she's married to now!) Since she has all of her canon memories back, she's taking the Pines one in stride and using them to her benefit. :D Which is cheating. Oops.
I'm a big fan of negative CR and darker plot elements, so some vampire aspects can definitely arise too (although, Katherine is very in control of herself, but that doesn't mean she's always on her best behavior) and Clary would be welcome to be witness to them or something? If you'd want, just a suggestion.
Or anything else, too. I want to throw them together, for sure.

Clary is somewhere between 16 and 18 so she's technically still in high school. I'm rereading the book to get details but she can definitely know Katherine as the Queen Bee type :p
I'm also totally cool with Katherine cheating. This entertains me and I find it to be a delightful angle. I'm tots cool with vampire stuff coming up. More so if it's while Clary is remembering parts of vampires from her canon and will be totally confused, maybe a little freaked out. And then sarcastic because that's what she does when she's freaked out... she's sarcastic lol.
