This is a meme for all of your CR-plotting needs! Go forth and mingle, but please try to be specific. "All the things" is nice, but it doesn't give people much to work with. Tag around, meet new people, and plot out false memories or make new ones.

WHO ARE THEY?: Sam is (though he only half-remembers being) a speechwriter and Deputy Communications Director under president Josiah Bartlet. He's a good-hearted uppity nerd with an Ivy League education and too much brain for his mouth to keep up with, tending to argue with himself when alone, prone to spouting useless information at bad times, and also clumsy as hell. But he tries. Oh, how he tries. And his moral compass is true even if he's a clueless idiot interpersonally.
ETC ETC: He is false-memory drinking buddies with Damon, and for the past five years (as far as he knows) has been responsible for his fake sister's kid (Chase Collins) after her death.

CURRENT PLANS: He's going to teach civics and history and probably get himself in trouble by having modules on resistance movements in US history and the obligations of the citizen.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Peers, friends, false memory frandships helping him deal with the trials of being not-dad to a teenage boy.

Logan/James also has several years' worth of false memories and has been a teacher for all of them. So these two should probably be pals or at least acquaintances. And if Sam needs pointers for dealing with teenagers..... well, he would claim to suck at handling kids, but he's actually not terrible. He lived in a school in NY for a long time and was around them on a day-to-day basis.

...The image of these two being friends makes me laugh so clearly this needs to happen. Logan would have been around then to see Sam slowly losing control of Chase/Chase taking a downward spiral from sad withdrawn kid into pissy rule-breaking ass while Sam tries fruitlessly to keep him on the straight and narrow.

YES GOOD, also, Chase is probably on his way to failing Logan's class because.... he's. never there.

So, lots of drinking, y. Logan keeps a fifth of bourbon in his desk drawer for just these reasons.

I am hearing this from a lot of his fellow teachers/staff, so you're probably not in as bad of a place as you think you are, Sam.

False memory drinking buddy! (More accurately, probably the best friend he has no choice in having despite his brother.) He and his brother aren't on the best terms right now. I'm sure Damon's tried getting Sam out there dating, especially because his sister's kid is almost grown. I'd say Sam most likely knows Katherine and Stefan, too. Katherine being Damon's "wife" JFC, and Stefan, his brother. ANYWAY..

Please let me know if you have any other ideas/want anything else. I admit when CR builds, I am the player who assaults IC inboxes. So.

Not assaults. But, they're used!

Sam has probably resisted even the idea of dating, because who needs that complication with a hellion in your life and also how could he subject anyone else to Chase's fits of pique. NO ONE DESERVES THAT.

...This is incentive for me to finish setting his inbox up.

WHO ARE THEY?: Sarah is a bright-eyed, wickedly smart, fatally curious artist who's prone to helping others by screwing things up for herself.
ETC ETC: She's mildly psychic, because plot holes.

Jae the Second, I hath arrived for CR!!

Since she's a recent graduate, Sarah and Izumi could have been school- or classmates. Did she have Steve for art? He's taking art now. They can totally chat about ~~those muscles~~ that, Y/N?

SHE DID. He was in fact her favorite teacher, and she would 100% chat about ~~those muscles~~ that. She'd also probably encourage him to pursue art stuff and shove potential projects at him, if he's interested in art as a career path.

Girl, he can barely draw to save his life. That ain't gonna fly.

But perfect! That gives me an idea to tag her intro with, so I'll be hitting that up shortly.

Clary is also an artist! So was her mother. Right now her Pines memories are that she moved there when she was ten and her mother is in France or somewhere because of an art exhibit. It'd be awesome for Clary and Sarah to meet and talk or already know each other through art. Both Clary and her mom are talented.

Sarah is also talented, though her talents run more toward photography than drawing. She does that too! They could maybe do local art projects or something? A thought. They could totally have met in art class and bonded there! They would have had... two? High school years in common, and Sarah probably took more advanced classes.

Clary draws and paints and is specifically really good at those two things in canon. The can definately do art protects together! Also meeting in art classes because Clary's totally be saving up to take extra and advance classes whenever she can. I'm not sure about high school years in common. Mostly because highschool is weird and the years are weird. I used to tutuor, forever ago. But since Clary is trying to take extra classes in art they've probably seen each other around.
