JEFFERSON
CANON: Once Upon a Time

WHO ARE THEY?: OUAT is convoluted on the best of days, so I'll just cut to the chase. Jefferson's lived as a portal jumper/thief/con artist, as an impoverished single father trying to get by with honest work, and-- oh yeah-- he also got stranded in Wonderland, lost his mind, and became known as the Mad Hatter. Then a curse happened, sucked him and everyone from his original home (the Enchanted Forest) into 'our' world, where everyone forgot who they really were and were cursed to live the same day over and over again for 28 years. Jefferson, however, was cursed to REMEMBER EVERYTHING: his cursed life and his real life. And his daughter was made to forget him and given an entirely new family. So he went even crazier.

And now he's here and remembers large chunks of his real life, his fake curse memories, and his fake Wayward Pines memories-- but he also has some key gaps in his memory. Namely: he doesn't remember the fact that he's been cursed, and he doesn't remember anything about his daughter, except that he used to have a daughter. So that's fucked him up, basically.

However!! Though he's still pretty sure he's a delusional madman, he's currently at a point where he's starting to just accept that he is, on some level, every discernible identity in his head. (Though he hasn't realized that most of the 'identities' he's mapped out are actually the same person living a really long and weird life) Which has had the effect of causing him to loosen up a lot more than he had been in February/March.

Also he owns a tea shop here.

ETC ETC: Jefferson can usually be found at the tea shop, at his home (which he shares with Rumlow and Kenzi), or out and about running errands in town. Lately, he's been spending more time in the woods, going for "walks" several days a week (he's actually exploring/mapping the woods as best he can).

OF NOTE: Unless stated otherwise, Jefferson always has his neck covered with a scarf/cravat/ascot. There's a scar that goes all the way around his neck, which he got from getting his head cut off once upon a time.

CURRENT PLANS: I don't think I have any particular plans atm! Just kind of feeling things out as I go. I'm still postponing him remembering certain key facts (the curse, any details about his daughter, etc) because I'm having a lot of fun with his confusion and his attempts at reconciling all his weird, implausible memories.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Up for anything, but especially other weirdos who might encourage him to be weird(er), people to butt heads with, people who might mess with his head, and ~FRIENDS~. Oh, and employees and customers!

Jefferson. Not sure if the two of them would get along, but she would definitely be a regular at his shop.

Weirdly, I think they could get along! Since Pepper's so used to dealing with... eccentric dudes... She's always welcome at his shop!

Eccentric. Lo. That is a nice way of putting it. But she would def. stop in and chat with him about all the things. ~~She needs to ween herself off coffee and espresso~~.

BUCKY BARNES
CANON: Marvel Cinematic Universe (specifically, Captain America: Civil War

WHO ARE THEY?: Captain America's best pal since childhood, one of the Howling Commandos, World War II vet, POW, former brainwashed assassin used by HYDRA, fugitive, etc. etc.

After regaining his memories for a SECOND TIME, Bucky's getting more involved in trying to unravel the mystery of this town and undermine the sheriff and the official notices. He can be pretty friendly, but in a polite/reserved kind of way. He loosens up more once he gets to know and trust people.

ETC ETC: HIS LEFT ARM IS A COOL ROBOT ARM!! He will typically wear long sleeves and a fingerless glove, but, you know. It's there. A robot arm.

Bucky tends to stick to a routine: running, working out (NOT AT THE GYM), shifts at the Salvatores' auto shop, errands around town, coffee at Java Joe's, the occasional evening at a bar (even though he can't get drunk; it's more to network and people watch), veterans' support group meetings, and home. Lots of time at home.

CURRENT PLANS: Getting involved in THE RESISTANCE, ie following Steve. Also quietly freaking out because Brock Rumlow's in town, and he has no idea if Rumlow knows The Words that'll trigger Winter Soldier mode.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: All things, but especially interested in cultivating friendships with people who've been similarly used/traumatized/etc-- people who can understand what he's been through. Also allies! And people for him to possibly get all big brotherly over! ALSO PEOPLE TO BUTT HEADS WITH BECAUSE I LIVE FOR BUCKY HAVING MOMENTS OF EXTREME PETTINESS.

So, I'm clearly always up for Bucky and Sam nonsense.

But hey, I also have this guy who is a canon amnesiac/war vet/science experiment. Plus he's older than you, Bucky, and not many people can probably say that.

I anticipate the presence of Mario Kart in the house is only going to escalate Bucky and Sam nonsense. HEY MAYBE SAM CAN FINALLY GET REVENGE FOR THE CAR BUCKY DESTROYED.

And yes! I'd really love to have Bucky and Logan connect on these issues, even though they're both the "NOT GONNA TALK ABOUT IT" type, so it'll just be... stubborn silence and talking around things. So I figure Bucky and Logan can know each other through Steve! Or through some other means, since I mean, it's a small town.

Clary can probably offer both Buttheaded-ness because she is incredibly stubborn and at times also petty and possible family friendships. She loves drawing and Bucky would offer an awesome muse juts because she likes drawing was isn't there, mixed with what is. For example, she'd draw Bucky but it'd be him dressed as a dark knight. Or riding a horse with a lance. She'd more or less draw him in a situation that we along with the impression that he was giving off. I imagine her at some point drawing him with angel wings because he was smiling and then he gets on her case about it. Plus she'll most likely be in Steve's art class to learn more so they will definately have a chance to meet.

Oh neat! HE'D MAKE A COOL KNIGHT. And he's gonna get roped into modeling for Steve's art class from time to time, so she could definitely meet him there and get to drawing him! And then, yeah, if he gets to know Clary, he might develop protective big brother feelings and want to keep her safe.

YAY and he'd make an awesome knight.

I'm tots excited for them to meet. And, since it's MCU related, he might also know her as Pepper Pott's niece. Me and Pepper-mun did this recently because red heads lol.

CHASE COLLINS
CANON: The Covenant

WHO ARE THEY?: A shitty teen witch who's addicted to magic and power and wants to kill and/or kiss any boy who stands in his way. He's a giant ham, a huge drama queen, and a rich, entitled brat. But he's good at pretending to be a nice, respectful kid. Currently, Chase doesn't remember much at all, so he's a little bit nicer than he would be if he had all of his memories intact.

According to his false memories, he moved to Wayward Pines about five years ago, after his mother died. He goes to high school, is an obnoxious delinquent, and lives with his uncle, Sam Seaborn!

ETC ETC: He goes to school, but will frequently skip classes. Other than that, WHO KNOWS WHAT HIS ROUTINE IS. Also, he's a powerful witch, so anyone who might be able to sense magic/auras/wev would be able to read that off of him.

CURRENT PLANS: NO PLANS. He just got here. I'm winging it.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: With his fellow kids? ENEMIES. RIVALS. FRENEMIES. Maybe a friend or two idk. Outside of that, Chase can be a bit malleable depending on who takes an interest in him. He could potentially be less of a horrible person if taken under the wing of a decent adult who he respects or admires (there's the hard part). So I'm always up for seeing what happens with people who might be good influences or bad.

Logan has about five years of false teacher memories, so if Chase is the shop class sort, I'm sure they would have bumped into each other.

YESSSS. omg I want for Chase to have been in shop class (and skipped it a lot, POSSIBLY FAILED IT??). I was about to be like "Chase is too rich and snobby to have ever deigned to do ~shop~" but then I remembered: WAYWARD PINES CHASE ISN'T RICH AND SNOBBY \o/
