CANON: Final Fantasy Type-0. (It's a PS4 port now, thank god.)

WHO ARE THEY?: At the ripe old age of 17, Jack is a child soldier basically bred to fight since he was a fetus. THIS IS HIS FIRST TIME BEING IN A PEACEFUL PLACE, IT'S WEIRD??? His journal name says it all: he's a wellspring of positivity and uses comedy to stay optimistic even when body parts are flying. Not having a war to fight has led to some growing pains since he introed last month, but he's getting by!
ETC ETC: Currently living in the most batshit house on the block with Ibaraki, Eliza, and Bruce Wayne. Has his hands full with a baby chocobo he hatched on March 19th, and is also the guy to talk to if you want to know how to swing around a katana INB4 SAMURAI JACK.

CURRENT PLANS: I'm looking to expose Jack to more non-soldiery small town things! Things like going to school, hitting the movie theatre, spending time with peeps, loitering around town, etc., things he's never really done before. He's currently (re)connecting with Pines AU CR, flunking all his classes at school, and is going to be getting a part-time job at the farm doing grunt work, as he's there a lot learning how to take care of his baby birb.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: "Anything" goes here, but I'd love school friends! Any kind of friends or friendly relationship in general. I'd love to have him "remember" more AU CR with a prior relationship angle, like friends he would've had, teachers he trusted, all that jazz.

School friends you say, welll... I haven't got anybody who'd be good at that actually but I mean, Pietro exists and occasionally tolerates persistent people??? He secretly wants to have friends, but doesn't want to show it and also assumes no one will like him anyway, so he acts like an asshole 99% of the time. But like. Maybe he took pity and helped Jack not flunk a test once and now the pact is sealed? Or something.

ETA: On second thought, the above could be fun to actually thread out, if you just want to handwave they share a class (French, Civics, European History maybe?) and Pietro has previously been a dick.

HELL FUCKIN' YEAH, I'm 100% on board for all of this, since although I'm saying AU Jack is a pretty capable student, now that he has his memories he remembers he doesn't even know Earth stuff and jis just ?????... ??? in every class. Pietro explains what the national anthem is and they're bros for life.

Jack grew up in Wayward Pines and I kind of kept to canon by saying he lost his parents at 7, so maybe he could've helped welcome Clary to town? They could've talked about Clary having a mom around is cool. :')

Lol, I haven't finished season one of the show but I have read all of the books. I need to watch more of the show tbh. Clary here is from the beginning of the books. Not much deviates in the beginning but the show is faster pace because books are books lol.

I can totally see them being friends since they were kids. She'd just tell him that they can share her mom. Lol. Are there any specific memories you might want them to have? Like maybe playing in the woods as kids? Or her trying to draw him but he doesn't sit still. lol

Oh no, childhood friends would be adorable. AND SHARING A MOM, WEH, that hits right in the feels, I need this adorable pain my life.
