CANON: The Vampire Diaries
JOURNAL:
WHO ARE THEY?: Once a likable pushover AWOL from the civil war, he and his brother were manipulated by a visiting vampire and nothing has ever been the same. He's a blunt, rude, irrational impulsive vampire who's grown a fair amount due his love for one girl, who is not his wife. Always the one who makes the hard decision, sometimes turning people against him despite it all being for the greater good.
ETC ETC: Damon owns S & D Automotive with his brother, Stefan and he recently learned he dated and married their mutual "enemy," Katherine Pierce. When not at the shop, he can be found at any of the lunch establishments Monday - Saturday. At night, he'll frequent Weavers, or one of the other bars. He also drops in on friends a lot, so he may be at the school, or anywhere else people he knows spend time. He's allies with Malia and Jaiying, (the latter he uses and has compelled).
CURRENT PLANS: Right now, he's playing up his marriage with Katherine, playing that part well. But, he's getting restless (and sometimes that leads to recklessness). He's going to picking up a few shifts at one of the bars in order to gain any drunken intel.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: I am that person. Everything. He's easy to get negative CR with, but sometimes, surprisingly, it doesn't stay negative, or CR I think will automatically be negative, isn't.
Currently looking for: a woman to bide his time with, seeing as Elena isn't here and he will not be going there with Katherine, more "friends," maybe enemies. Again, everything.
FALSE MEMORIES PLOTTING: He's drinking buddies with Howard, Sam Seaborn and is forging a friendship with Howard's ex, Jefferson. Shia and I are working with the brothers uncovering their shadier dealings with their business. Damon and Katherine also have a power thing going, and while they marry one another, they fool around outside their marriage and manipulate who they want, so I'd love someone to be an extramarital affair for Damon. That could be fascinating. Other than that, people he went to high school with, dated, liked him, hated him. I love the component for false memories.
RECENT OPEN POST: It's farther back, but there will be another this month!

I'm up for any false memories. Clary moved to wayward pines when she was ten and is currently living alone because her mother is on an art tour in France or somewhere. She likes to draw and is always looking for subjects or ideas. She likes trying new things, because she gets restless and is looking for excitement. I have no idea how their CR would go but I think it'd be fun :D I also just started watching Vampire Diaries and I admit, that Damon seems pretty cool.

Pines-wise, he can totally know of Clary/have seen her around/grown up, possibly because he was flirty with her mom. He tends to do that. Did her mom own an art gallery in town?

LOL. I imagine him flirting with Clary's mom and her being not at all receptive. But yes, she can totally know him from that. I guess he wouldn't age through that time? I think of her not knowing he's a vampire and being like. Weird, you look the same from when I was ten. Though its only six years. I don't actually know what age Damon looks like but her mom is now in her early forties and would have been in her mid thirties when they moved there.

Anywho, he's twenty eight, technically, so I think in Pines context, everyone remembers each other from being younger so I'm not sure that's a thing we need to worry about, but she can realize that he's looked strikingly like this for a while, now maybe.
Damon's seen her around town as much as he's seen anyone around town.

Damon and Stefan are discovering a shadier side to their shop, smaller, shadier criminal activity we haven't quite pinned down. Maybe bookie-related, or money laundering, if you wanted Damon to know her mother because of something like that, so Damon can be well aware of just who Clary is.

THAT ACTUALLY WORKS.
So I don't know how much you know about the canon but Clary's mother is in hiding with Clary because Clary is special and because Jocelyn has the mortal cup. She knows different people in the Downworlder community. Example: her best friend is a werewolf. And she uses those connections to stay hidden from her husband.
SO
Working that in. It's totally possible that Jocelyn is somehow involved in shady dealings that Clary knows nothing about. In wayward pines it can be for her art or to keep Clary from learning about her father or whatever. The world is our oyster for thoughts. But yes, that'd be cool.
