I think it's time for another FASHION MEME

what are you wearing?

That's right, it's time fooooor: A FASHION MEME. Since our characters are all trapped in a small town in the 90s: what are they wearing? Are they trying to keep their look as true to canon as possible, or are they embracing a more period-appropriate look? HAS ANYONE GOTTEN THE RACHEL YET? Go ahead and post what your characters are wearing, whether through pics or polyvore links or written descriptions.

BONUS POINTS for including outfits your character's wearing to the camping trip and/or the bbq pool party!

Generally, anything with florals and some frills from Delia's in the 90s.

Also: lightwash denim jackets, the occasional high waisted jean, jelly sandals, pastel keds. Definitely a wide array of scrunchies and headbands. Skater dresses and chokers and leggings on occasion. Camping puts her in khakis and buttoned shirts tied at the waist with some cute camis.

Dirty grunge hobo, half Jyn's clothes are borrowed from Cassian and Poe and then altered to fit her littler frame -- she totally stole those jeans to make herself a pair of slouchy shorts, that belt is stolen, every single flannel or denim shirt she owns has been stolen. She doesn't have time for shopping, y'all. Aside from various stolen clothes (seriously, don't be friends with her or she will jack your shit), her hair is always in the same low messy bun and she always always has her crystal necklace tucked into her shirt, accessories are for chumps. Her favorite colors are blue and brown, she's not a fan of bright colors but she will make a very small exception for orange.

When Bucky arrived in-game, he sort of defaulted to grunge-y looks, since that's what was in his room when he got here. FLANNEL, DENIM, TEES, SWEATERS, mix and match layers. He's got a lot of shirts of bands and references he's not suuuper familiar with, though he's made an effort to learn. He's added more simple henleys and raglan shirts, things that are closer to his real style than the clothes he inherited in town.

Basically, he took what he started with and tried to push it closer to a look that's more ACTUAL BUCKY BARNES and less FALSE MEMORIES BUCKY.

When in doubt, assume his style inspiration is Trent Lane or something. Also he doesn't really try to hide the metal arm anymore. It's too hot to wear long sleeves all the time!

As for the bbq pool party: BRIGHT ORANGE SWIM TRUNKS AND A PEARL JAM T-SHIRT CUT INTO A TANK TOP. (now I just have to post him to the party)

(Yeah, his clothes are boring. I only put this meme up to see what LESS BORING PEOPLE are wearing. SHHH.)

Ana mostly goes with the 90s theme but coming as close to her aesthetic as she can. Mostly in the shoe department. On the first day of camping Ana wore this. Day two of camping. Opening at Glug Glugs. the pool party (which I need to tag into). And an every day teaching outfit. At school, her hair is always pulled back, and there's normally at least one whiteboard marker in it.

Also Ana always wears the same pair of glasses, but they can change shape and transition because G.I. Joe.

For Leia, she dresses pretty much as you expect in grays and blues and always wears the two blue stone ring.

Jefferson makes zero effort to blend into the 90s Idaho aesthetic. AND HE ALTERS/TAILORS HIS OWN CLOTHES, SO YOU CAN'T STOP HIM FROM BEING AN ANACHRONISM. So yeah, he dresses how he does in canon: layers, scarves, patterns, dark colors, all fitting him well and making him look like a fancypants. Oh and ubiquitous black skinny jeans. (Apparently that's all he wears in every non-flashback scene???)

As the weather's gotten warmer, he's stopped wearing coats/jackets/blazers and has taken to rolling up his sleeves. And he's swapped his heavier scarves for ascots and gauzier/lighter summer scarves. HE WILL NEVER STOP WEARING NECKWEAR.

Caroline - Wayward

Tobias is literally always rolling around in the same thing when he's human because only tight fitting clothes actually stick with him through the morph but it's basically some version of this

only without socks or shoes either. Rachel bought him a whole Tommy Hilfiger outfit once for subterfuge but it sadly didn't make the trip with him.

Alex isn't too picky sartorially, going for comfort and function over style but I imagine on any given day he probably looks like one of the sons from Home Improvement

Pietro doesn't wear this but please imagine it. More likely he dresses like Jason Priestly circa 90210 on half the budget.

Less well-pressed button-down shirts over t-shirts, jeans with carefully repaired holes, and some awful jean jacket overtop, you're welcome. Mostly blues, browns, and greens, occasionally a pattern. Always layers. Sometimes one of those layers is a terrible sweater.

All I really know so far is that he wears terrible big (sometimes bright patterned) sweaters, has a pair of secondhand JUICY sweatpants, and hilariously his gold hoop earring is PERIOD APPROPRIATE. I will determine more later after more research.

This is mainly so I can lay out what he wore to the pool party/darkspawn attack:
shades, open shirt with cuffs rolled up, swim trunks, and sandals. He later drops by his house to pick up his staff.
